The ABB  EF460-500 is a self-powered electronic overload relay, which means that an additional external supply is not required. It offers reliable and fast protection for motors in case of overload or phase failure. Easy to use as a thermal overload relay and compatible with standard motor applications, the electronic overload relay is convincing, especially due to its wide configuration range, high accuracy, high operating temperature range and the possibility of selecting a shooting class (10E, 20E, 30E). Other features are temperature compensation, trip contact (NC), signal contact (NO), selectable automatic or manual reset, non-trip mechanism, STOP and Test function and a trip indication. The overload relays are connected directly to the contactors. The EF460 and EF750 are ATEX and IECEx certified.
